Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we enter the 2024-2025 school year, I am filled with confidence for another exciting period of learning and growth. With 27 years of experience as an educator at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, I appreciate the passage of time and value the diverse perspectives gained from working with students of all ages. Beginning my 9^th year as the Principal of Sublette Elementary fills me with great pride, and I am honored to be part of this progressive district.

In July, we were delighted to receive news of the ongoing support for our BEST after-school program. Sublette has been granted the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant, ensuring the continued funding of our after-school program. This enables us to maintain our commitment to nurturing the social-emotional, cognitive, and academic development of our students. Moreover, the after-school program offers a secure and encouraging environment for both students and families. Additionally, we are pleased to extend the opportunity for preschool students to participate in the BEST after-school program. We are truly grateful for this exceptional program, which benefits our students, families, and community.

Continuing from our successes last year, our unwavering focus remains on character education through the CHAMPS behavior model, implementing the Zones of Regulation for social and emotional development, Curriculum Mapping, and utilizing College and Career Readiness data to guide our instructional practices. Our committed staff is dedicated to creating your child's best possible learning environment.

Our passionate staff is committed to providing an engaging, meaningful, and captivating learning experience. Establishing strong relationships with parents/guardians and the community is crucial for our students' future success, and we highly value these partnerships.
